Booking Terms

Please book in advance to avoid disappointment and no access to site.

We do not normally accept private groups. Please call for further advice.

Bookings should be made online and can be at any time 24hours, 7 days. If we don’t answer the phone, its because we have a cafe, fishery, shop and campsite running. Please leave a clear message on the answer machine, stating your name, contact details and what you require. The message should be clear, and will be dealt with as soon as is possible. If we don’t get back to you, it will be because we have not understood the number. Please do not repeatedly call and hang up, it will still go to the answer machine if we are busy.

We reserve the right to refuse any booking and we DO NOT accept "van conversions" where there are no side windows. Any conversions wishing EHU must have a certified onboard RCD and EXTERNAL hook up connection.


We take a booking deposit. This is Non Refundable within 14 days of arrival date. The balance is due no less than 14 days before arrival.

Any bookings accepted are on the basis that guests understand and adhere to our site rules.

Changes to the booking must be agreed at least two days prior to arrival. Any changes not agreed prior to arrival may result in the booking being cancelled.

Any changes less than 14 days of arrival date may be subject to a charge. Any cancellations or changes less than 14 days are not entitled to any refund.


Tents will only be accepted during the months of April to October, with a maximum number of 2 persons. There is no EHU available for tent pitches.


Awnings are only available on pitches 1 to 5, and certain grass areas. Please check at booking stage.


Under Scottsh Fire & Rescue guidance (Fire Safety (Scotland) Regulations 2006), there are NO fires permitted anywhere on our site. BBQs should be used in our designated BBQ area beside the pitches.

There are no naked flames permitted anywhere in the tent field.

If you are a group, but book individually and it is apparent you are a group, then you may be asked to leave.

Cancellations must be received at least 14 days prior to your arrival. we strongly advise that if there is any chance you may cancel within the stated time frames, that you take out any relevant holiday/travel insurance.

Unless by prior arrangement, pitches will be available from 13.00 on the day of arrival and we ask that you vacate your pitch by 11.00am on the day of departure. You should aim to arrive before 17.00. Arrivals will not normally be accepted after 19.00. We have an automatic barrier that closes which resticts all acess and egress.

We welcome well behaved dogs onto our site, but they must be kept on a lead or tether, and under control at all times. We have a maximum dog limit of 3 per pitch.

All visitors are requested to read, or re-read, through the “Site Rules” on arrival and follow them during their stay.
